Shock: iPhone gamers are desirable ad demo
On a purely instinctive level, it’s not surprising that iPhone game players are part of what advertisers consider to be a highly desirable demographic. But now ad-supported mobile game company Greystripe has some numbers to back it up. The most recent of its quarterly Consumer Insights Report looks at people who play its games and finds that 80% attended college and 46% make more than $78K a year. Greystripe says it has 100 million games downloaded and a worldwide 9.1 percent click-through rate as the basis for its statistics.
