Skive off with Veoh and SanDisk

leave a comment »

sandiskVeoh and SanDisk jointly announced the Veoh Web Player for SanDisk, an application for SanDisk Cruzer USB flash drives that lets consumers access anything available via Veoh from any computer. Since Veoh has more than 100,000 content publishers – including CBS, Viacom’s MTV Networks, ABC, Warner Bros. Television Group, ESPN and Lions Gate plus thousands of independent filmmakers and content producers – there’s plenty to watch.

The Cruzer’s U3 Smart technology has security features that mean the peer-to-peer client and password-protected application can be self-contained on the flash drive. This is particularly useful for people at work or school who can’t really mess with their assigned computer. Baby steps, but steps in the right direction nonetheless.
