Wii is the Prius of game consoles

Have you enabled the auto-shutdown feature on your game console? The
Natural Resources Defense Council wishes you would, and not only because you can save a surprising amount of money. According to its latest report, Lowering the Cost of Play, turning off your PS3 when you’re not playing can save as much as $122 a year since it draws 134 watts (more if it’s an early model). The Wii draws only 16 watts in active mode, leading to a potential saving of $7, and the Xbox 360 comes in at 103 watts for a potential savings of $92 (again, more if it’s an early model). One caveat, however – these dollar figures randomly assume that half of all gamers leave their console on 24/7, which seems unrealistic given how loud they run. (Via Consumerist)
