twitter-birdSome press outlets were very impressed with, which raises money for charity through shopping links on Twitter. I’m not convinced, but good luck to them.

Users tweet their recommendation for a book, DVD or whatever. When someone purchases that item by clicking through the tweet, the retailer gives an unspecified referral fee from which the service gives 55% to specific charities. is an offshoot of affinity marketing firm Skimlinks, which is based in Shoreditch, an area of north London being gentrified by tech companies.
